We'd like to welcome you to our Periwinkle home, Beach Blessings, located just steps from the beach, on the south side of 30A, and with a private pool. This home is pet-friendly! Located just a few minutes from Seaside and just a half-mile east of Highway 395. This spacious 5 bed, 4.5 bath 4,077 square foot multi-level home also has a spectacular fourth floor, beach-view sun deck overlooking our amazing 30A sunsets. This is a real gem you'll use every day of your vacation.

For those of you that have stayed with us in year's past, this home underwent an extensive remodel in 2020 and 2021. The pool deck is completely new along with the fencing around the yard. If you've stayed in this home before, you'll barely recognize the place! This is a gorgeous home in a location second to none - literally steps from the beach, minutes from Seaside, has a private pool, fenced-in area perfect for your family dog, and located on the south side of 30A (no street to cross to get to the beach).

On the ground floor, you’ll find the dedicated laundry room, a twin over twin bunk bed, a queen bedroom with 2 bunk beds with a twin bed over a queen bed, and a king master suite. Up the stairs, you enter the main living area featuring custom and colorful artwork, the grand and gorgeous all-stainless kitchen, a large double pantry, a huge dining table with seating for 8, an entire wall of window seating, a cozy coastal-inspired living area with a very large flat-screen TV, and decorative fireplace. Venture up to the third floor where you’ll discover a loft area with custom Twin bunks for 2. There is an additional King Master Suite and another great guest room featuring 2 bunk beds with a twin over a queen. The owner of this property spared no expense in adding an additional floor to this beautiful home! The fourth floor offers a large deck with FULL views of the ocean!

"We come to 30A every year and this was probably the best year yet! We've dealt with many realties throughout the years and Blue Swell was fantastic - good communication before and during, plus swift action with a minor maintenance issue. Pros: This house is spacious - we loved the large dining table and kitchen island. The boardwalk to the beach is immediately outside the back yard - so close! It's a public beach entrance, but there's no parking places so the beach wasn't crowded. The back yard and the cabana by the pool were well used by our family! The door alarms to the pool area worked well and were up high where the kids couldn't reach them. We also enjoyed the balconies - and yes, you can see the water (but not the sand) from the 3rd and 4th floors. Cons: The fancy stove is tricky and only uses its brand of pans. They provided pans but they were all scratched up. I always bring my own frying pan for that very reason, but couldn't use it. Yes, you can hear street noise in the house but it wasn't that bad when we were there. The only door with a keypad goes directly into the 3-bunk room, so no privacy in that room. Some mattresses were better than others but we didn't need them all so we just moved to another one. All in all, the cons were minor and we had a wonderful stay!

"We were a group of mom and graduating senior sons. The time we had at this property was amazing. Access to the beach was so close and made our stay so enjoyable! The house was perfect for our large group needs.
The only exception to a wonderful stay was the dishwasher. With some attention to what might be a more permanent solution, the house will be at 100%. Thank you for having us and for providing a home and location that made our time so perfect!

"Wonderful Location!!! The home was great, just as described online. Our only issue was the pool pump not working which they sent the repair man the day we left and both master bedroom TVs did not work. We contacted Blue Swell multiple times about the TVs and no one come to fix the TVs. Would not have mattered if weather was nice but with rain no TV was an issue. The house was the perfect location just steps from the beach and a short bike ride to the square. It’s perfect for two families with multiple kids plenty of space to spread out!

Family and friends trip

"We stayed at this location with another couple and our young children. The location was great, a mile from Seaside and just a short walk down the stairs to the beach. The house had a lot of stairs but at least it was good exercise. Views on the rooftop were great. Had a couple maintenance issues but the management company responded very promptly, one of which was the AC on the 3rd floor, but even after fixing it, it still didn't seem to keep that level very cool, but it was cool enough at night so it didn't bother us too much. Kitchen could have used a couple potholders (couldn't find any) and they only supplied one dishtowel, also didn't see any start washing detergent which I usually see at other rentals so you may want to bring some if you plan to wash clothes. Overall, this was a great house with a great location!

"This house is just steps from the beach! The pool and all of the porches allow for lots of outdoor enjoyment. The kitchen is top of the line, and the beds are very comfortable. Blue Swell was very responsive when contacted. We would rent 12 Periwinkle again, for sure!

"THIS VACATION RENTAL WAS EASY RIGHT FROM THE START - WE GOT IN EARLY SO THEY LET US COME IN EARLY , THE HOUSE IS PERFECT FOR THE GROUP WE HAD - 2 MASTER BEDROOM AND 4 DIFFERENT BUNK AREAS - THE FORUTH FLOOR WAS WONDERFUL FOR THE VIEW OF THE OCEAN AND THE YARD WAS SO PRETTY! WE NEEDED MAINTENANCE ONCE AND THEY CAME VERY QUICKLY AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. THE HOUSE IS ONLY 3 UP FROM THE BEACH SO IT WAS AN EASY WALK TO THE BEACH - GREAT HOUSE - NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!

Livin large for a week

"First of all, this house was amazing, and very well remodeled. Craftsmanship was very nice, with unique styling cues and materials that made for a very nice stay.
Upon Check in, the door code did not work, so we had to wait about 2 hours for the prop manager to go get keys from home office and return to open the house. No biggie, we had cold beer, and sat by the pool and caught up with our friends we were vacationing with.
The house had plenty of room for our party of 9, lol, had some back out, so we did not need a house that sleeps 22, but WTH!
The property was very comfortable, very close to the beach, which was great for getting our gear and coolers to the beach, and close for the kids to go back and forth.
The pool was nice, but we were not informed that the hottub did not work. Fine by me, I didn't want to sit in 100 degree water on a 95 degree day. The kids griped about it, but kids will gripe about anything.
Only real issue we had, was the landscaping crew went crazy with the leaf blower, after a storm, so the pool was full of debris. A call was made to have the pool cleaned, and I was asked for a pic to show how dirty it was to address whether it needed cleaned?! We just cleaned it ourselves, with the hose, cleaned the filter, and backflushed the pump. Yall are welcome for not costing an extra cleaning fee for the week.
Overall, loved, would recommend it, would and probably will go back with friends again!

A Great Spring Break

"What a beautiful location! We couldn’t have asked for a better, more accommodating spot to entertain my daughter and seven of her friends for their Senior year Spring Break! The house was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and was only steps away from the beach. The views from the multiple patios were breathtaking!! Finally, a quick walk, bike ride, or golf cart trip and you are in the hustle and bustle of Seaside! What a fun, memorable experience for everyone!!

"This place is fabulous!!! Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, decor is beautiful! Access to the beach is just steps away! Ample parking for multiple families, close to some great restaurants, and plenty of room for everyone! Entire house was very clean and obviously well maintained! TIP: For a unit this large frig is a little small so may want to bring an extra cooler for beverages and ice. Checkin was easy and communication is excellent. The private pool and cooling tub is wonderful and an added luxury. Definitely recommend this gem and ready to go back!!!!!!!

Huge disappointment

"We didn’t have air conditioning upstairs all week in the heat of July. There was black mold upstairs in the ceiling. And thick dust on the air filters like they had never been changed. Ridiculous for all the money we spent. It was very upsetting

"First, I would echo another reviewer in that this property is large and has great potential. It was a short walk to the beach, but be prepared for stairs! The property managers were easy to communicate with and tried to handle most issues. However, I don't think anything was actually fixed during our stay except the outdoor cleaning. When we arrived, there were cans and trash outside in the back and pool area. That was remedied fairly quickly. Note: The week of the stay, you'll get a note saying check-in may be as late as 7 p.m. which is the 1st time you'll hear it and is very inconvenient for those traveling by air!

This house was spacious enough for our party of 13 (6 adults-7 children), but I will tell you that fitting many more or anywhere near the 23 it purports to hold would be ridiculous.

Now for the reality. The kitchen equipment is fancy, but a bit complicated. The fridge has a broken handle, and there is some broken furniture that needs repairing or just moved out of the home. One of the glass shower doors isn't properly installed and it sounds like a gunshot if you don't gently close it. There is no landscaping - its just overgrown weeds everywhere. We actually pulled a lot of weeds from around the pool, hoping the kids wouldn't slip and fall. It is the tiniest of pool areas and the furniture out there isn't well maintained. Again, weeds and fire ants are just everywhere! You cannot tell from the photos, but it is right on the busy street, so be prepared for loud passers by and constant traffic. The fencing is around the pool only, and is in disrepair - the handles/latches on both entrances are broken for starters. Likewise, the handle/latch on the side entrance outdoor shower is also broken.

This place has a lot of potential, but it just isn't what you'd want to walk into for the rates they are charging. Most of the problems weren't worth constantly bothering the property managers about, but I wouldn't go back or recomm

Beach Blessings review

"I have hesitated to write this review but feel if I were the owner I would want to know these issues. First off, the house is beautiful and has great potential. The location is fabulous, a short walk to beach , perfect with our 5 grandchildren. Biking distance to Seaside central so that is great as well. However there were multiple maintenance and housekeeping issues.I have never written a negative review on a property we have stayed at but again I feel if I were the owner I would want to know these things. When we arrived the doors were unlocked and of course that scared us. There is no key pad on the main entrance which is a huge safety issue. The dishwasher leaked during the first use and the motor never stopped running, all week. We had to hand wash all dishes the rest of the week. A maintenance man did come 3 days in, very friendly, and said they would replace the unit the next day but we never saw them again. I do not mind washing dishes but with 13 people that kept us all busy. The dryer did not work, it would spin and make warm air for just a few minutes and then would only spin. We hung our clothes/towels around the unit when we needed to wash. One air conditioning unit did not work well. The repair man said he fixed it but it quickly stopped functioning after he left.There was a hole in a wall in one guest bathroom. Upon arrival there were no blowdryers or iron in the home. They did bring those after calling the next day. We purchased hamburger meat to grill, sadly when we went to cook the small grill did not work. Had to cook them on an electric skillet. The grill is too small really for this size home, but it did not work anyway.. I know the 4th floor was recently added and is beautiful. However all building material and scraps were laying all around the outside of the home, very messy around the pool. There were 2 large rubbermaid containers on the kitchen porch with trash items in them. Again, this house is beautiful and has great potential.

"We had a wonderful time at Beach Blessings. The property was very clean and well stocked. It was spacious enough for two large families plus a set of grandparents. It didn’t ever feel cramped. There’s plenty of deck area for everyone to enjoy eating outside and a bit of a view from the top level. The beach is very close, a quick walk — very easy for families with young ones who need to go back up to the house quickly. The pool is small but great for cooling off after the beach. It’s super close to the Seaside action — only a five minute bike ride, but away from the crowds. The only downside I can think of is the house is right on 30A, but it is well insulated so noise is not an issue. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would love to come back! Highly recommend.

"This house was great for our group of 9 girls. It was large enough to where we were all spread out, but still had plenty of gathering spaces. The proximity to the beach can not be beat, and we loved the private pool for days where the ocean was choppy or crowded. We did have some difficulty with the door code, and it was hard to get in touch with the rental property immediately, but once we were able to contact them they fixed it immediately. Overall, the property was fantastic and I plan to stay here again if I visit Seagrove in the future.

"When we arrived the air conditioning was not working. After talking with the rental company I ended up fixing the problem, which turned out to be a circuit breaker, myself. The handles on the refrigerator were broken. The pool lights did not work. Several of the cabinets were loose. Through all of this the company was very professional in getting everything that could be fixed, fixed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

" the house is very noisy, no instructions for tv use or guide, Italian stove is not user friendly and instructions are not adequate. It is an old home , not sufficient hot water for 4-6 people let alone the advertised occupancy
