This beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo features luxury, comfort, and celestial views of the Gulf. Calypso Resort is located in the heart of Panama City Beach located by the best shopping and dining!

Gulf Vistas welcomes you with open arms as your first glance includes the floor-to-ceiling patio doors that take you onto the expansive balcony with ample outdoor seating and amazing views of the emerald green waters and shimmering white sands. The living area features high-end luxury furnishings including a queen sofa sleeper, flat-screen HDTV, and breathtaking views. Formal dining seating for four and added breakfast bar seating allowing everyone to dine together. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you'll need to create sumptuous coastal cuisine for the entire family.

Guest will need to pre-register online for a parking pass BEFORE arrival. There is a one car limit per reservation.

"We were very happy with our stay at Calypso. It’s an a great mid priced condo. Our unit was very clean, kitchen was well stocked (except no coffee filters). Some reviews say the bed was uncomfortable, but we didn’t think so. We slept very well on it. The location is exceptional! Beautiful balcony views. It’s right next to Pier Park and many dining establishments within walking distance. Loved that it was on the more quiet west side of PCB

Cute Condo with Great Views

"The condo was super cute and came with all the essentials! It’s walking distance to Pier Park. The beach views were gorgeous. The property was well maintained, the pools were excellent, and beach chair service was a breeze. I would definitely stay there again! Only downside is the elevator wait, but that is to be expected. Blue Swell was amazing to work with!!

"The room was great, clean & comfortable. Plenty of towels. I read the reviews that the bed was uncomfortable, however we thought it was just fine! The condo A.C. was great and it stayed cool. The balcony had awesome chairs to sit in. Communication with the rental company was awesome, you just had to text them. We would definitely book this room again, the views were incredible. Walking distance to everything! The included beach chairs were a great bonus & we LOVED being able to do laundry in our room!

The only negatives were our armband doesn’t work on tower 3 pool, which if you have kids that’s definitely the best pool. The room only came with one trash bag & the sofa chair in the living room was broken. But those were all just little things.

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and well stocked. Great location. Beautiful view. One thing I would love to see added, but does not affect my review of 5 stars, is to provide a couple of coffee pods. It was the only thing I forgot and I wished a couple of pods had been there, so we wouldn't have had to go back out that evening. Thanks for a lovely stay.

"You can not ask for a better location. Walk to dinner and the pier every night. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the unit. Mold in the showers and the floors were very dirty. Still had the last guests laundry in the dryer.

Some parts were better than others

"The location was great, it was very clean. The only downfall was the room was very hot. The thermostat was set to 75 degrees but it never got below 79 degrees, there were times we had to go outside and cool off. To pay as much as you do for these rentals your room should be cool after a long day at the beach. Our fridge went out and they were really helpful about getting us a new one. So for the most part is was a great vacation,

Beautiful condo but AC was a nightmare

"The condo was beautiful but I cannot recommend it to anyone. We will not be returning. Our room was extremely uncomfortable and the temp was hovering at 76 degrees. The humidity was extremely high the week we went. We reached out to maintenance and was told the lowest the AC could go was 74 degrees. We had 4 other families staying at the Calypso and no one else had this regulation. As the week went on, our room was 78-79 degrees. We even avoided going out on the balcony to keep the doors shut. The hot nights were extremely uncomfortable. We cut our losses and left a day early.

Great week at PCB

"I had a few issues, didn’t get the email for parking pass so had to spend about an hour figuring that out when we arrived and was at first told by the beach service guy that he didn’t have anything on file for our beach chairs that were included with the room. My parking and beach chair issue was was resolved satisfactorily and Blue Swell regularly checked on us via text and were very responsive. The condo was very tidy and clean! Plenty of towels. The mattress in the bedroom wasn’t the best. The view was great! One of the beach services employees came around daily sweeping sand from our chairs, which was really awesome! Short walking distance to Pier Park! My daughter left her makeup bag in the room at the end of the vacation and they are shipping it to us! Thankful for that!

Callypso. Panama City Beach 1203 e

"Our experience with blue swell in the management office was great! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and worked hard to find us a place at the last minute. We chose one beachfront calypso unit 1203 East. Upon arrival maybe we noticed that the curtains were broken and falling off and full of stains. The unit was fairly clean baseboards in the bathroom were really dirty. They were a little disappointed in the skillets they were old and the Teflon was all scratched up and they were worked at least the big one was that we wanted to use. There was hodgepodge glassware and no Tupperware of any kind to store any leftovers in. I had to go buy a knife the knife said they had there wouldn't even cut my sweet potato. The master bathtub would not drain while you were taking a shower so you would be in standing water. Other than that it was a very comfortable beautiful view. It is a little outdated and some of the pillow cases didn't really fit the pillows. It's a little bit of sprucing up and some attention paid to it it's a very wonderful location and a cute place just need some work. We enjoyed the pool area and the beach and Pier Park. Again we had a great experience with blue swell over the phone and appreciated there expertise. Danielle was in training and we were happy to help move her along in her training!!

I’ll never rent through Blue Swells again

"When I called frustrated after receiving a text that our unit wasn’t ready for check-in at 4, the “manager” Brian quickly suggested that he could just cancel the reservation and refund my payment. I’m not sure how a “manager” could possibly think that’s the first appropriate solution. I’d like to add that he let off a smart laugh during our conversation as well. Totally unprofessional. I’ve never experienced a “manager” behave this way. I’d definitely suggest a professional manager’s training program for the guy. Read their contract carefully as it states that check-in is between 4-7pm which means it’s possible that you may not be able to check in until 7pm. That’s a huge window especially after traveling hours to the destination. However, they still expect for you to check out on time (10am) on the departure date. We have to allow them grace for getting checked in, but no grace is given to guests for check out times? This shows how much they really care about their customers.
The unit.... Whew. It was not cleaned properly when we arrived. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the master bath was dirty-toilet and floor. So gross. Food was left in the freezer from the previous guests. I informed them of this and was told housekeeping would be notified. I received a text the next day stating housekeeping was on the way. I’m assuming we were supposed to wait until the next day for the issues to be corrected. I had to clean up the mess so that we’d be able to stay comfortably through the night. And of course no compensation was offered. Also, the unit is in need of repairs/upgrades. The location was perfect which is why we chose this unit. We’ve been staying at Calypso Towers for over 10 years and this is the first time we’ve had issues like this. Never again!

Horrible stay in a filthy unit

"Unit 1203E was horrible. First, the unit was not ready at check in time. Upon getting into the unit, the unit was not clean. The was hair all over the unit. There was mold in the bathroom. It was around the bottom of the shower curtain liner and on the shower head. It was disgusting. Just imagine having to look at that every time you have to take a shower. There was also nasty stains all over the curtain to the patio. I had a hard time getting comfortable in the unit because it was just dirty. It just seemed the unit has not been maintained very well. The owners seem to only want to make money and don’t want to actually improve or maintain the unit. I expressed my frustration with Blue Swell and they offered a $100 credit. For a unit that was nearly $3,000 that amount is just laughable. I will never stay in another Blue Swell property.

"Vacation rental was horrible. We were given access to the rental and it looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months! We called and they sent someone to clean unit but I was still uncomfortable with it. We went behind housekeeping and cleaned again. There was pigeon poop all over the balcony. Bathrooms were not clean. The floor wasn't vacuumed. We had to call for arm bands. Representatives were accommodating when we called (several times) but to sum it up, it was a bad experience.
