"We stayed the week of Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful stay here. This is our 2nd time staying in the unit. The property has a great layout and is close to the beach. Blue Swell is always to notch with their customer service. The only issue was there were several dead bugs near the sliding doors. No other issues. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

"This was our second vacation year at 20 Gulfview Dr. We had several new relatives enjoying the space with us. What a pleasant surprise to see new and upgraded furniture, bathroom redos and added kitchen supplies. We did need to call maintenance once or twice and their response was extraordinary. "Everything went fine during our stay, it had all the basic essentials you need to get started. Plenty of space in the kitchen for everyone. I would definitely recommend staying if your truly looking for a beach getaway but not concerned with how the home presents itself. It absolutely needs updating! Blinds were constantly falling in every room. When you sat on the couch the springs literally we’re coming through the cushions and were extremely uncomfortable. The paint on the walls were very dirty and desperately needs a good touch up job. The kitchen drawers kept falling out towards you when you opened them. However, the master bedroom was very comfortable. We did enjoy your stay, with just a little TLC this property could be so much better:) thanks

"The location was great - just wish we had a better view of the ocean instead of the back of nonstop condo units. We had everything we needed but things are a little dated and could be upgraded especially the living room couches - we could actually feel the springs under us on the loveseat! A fresh coat of paint and some new decor along with new sofas would go a long way!

Great house.....but

"We loved our stay at Summer Dayz. The location was perfect! Quiet location and only a short walk to the beach. My only complaint is that they charged us for a coffee pot after we checked out. We never touched their coffee pot and never even knew they had a coffee pot. I emailed them when we first arrived to let them know of a missing kitchen cabinet door and window louvers, but I never thought I needed to double check everything in the house. I've had phone conversations and emails with the company, and I still haven't received a refund. I wouldn't let this be a reason not to stay because the house was perfect. This is just a warning to double check everything in the house so you aren't charged after you check out for something you didn't even know existed.

"Our six days at 20 Gulf View were wonderful... House location is perfect. A/C and refrigerator worked amazingly to keep things cool for our family of 7! Home is spacious and well equipped. Beds and bedding were very comfortable and towels were plenty! The only thing not up to par was furniture, cookware and really needs painting. A hose would be handy under the house as well for rinsing feet and sand chairs. Shout out to Blue Swell for sending maintenance quickly for a few small issues.

"You can't beat the location. Across the block from the beach. 10-15 minutes from Walmart and all the main strip restaurants. Walking distance to Publix, Waffle House, and Dunkin donuts. House is very dated with furniture, so don't expect luxury finishes. Could definitely use new couches and carpet. A few maintenance issues on arrival, but most were fixed the next morning. The only big issue was they never fixed the ice machine so we were stuck buying ice every day. The only reason why I wont give it a full 5 stars on everything. Overall I would stay here again.

So many things broken

"I was disappointed to see the amount of things broken/wrong with this property. A cabinet door was missing, blinds were missing off windows, the toilets were running, carpets were dirty and there was very rusty patio furniture on the porch. The first night a street light shone in our faces all night because of the missing blinds. Luckily, when I contacted the management company they came to fix some of it. It was close to the beach, but you can not see the beach from this house. If I came to this area again I would not likely not stay at this property again.

"Loved house and location unfortunately we did not A/C 5 of the 6 days. Reported the issue first thing Sunday morning. Blue Swell sent someone out right away. Diagnosed the problem right away but was not authorized to make repairs. Sent numerous people out every day as we kept complaining. They said they could fix it but was authorized to make repairs. Finally after a personal visit to Blue Swell office Thursday morning someone showed up Thursday afternoon and made the repairs. Blue Swell did refund 3 of 5 nights without A/C at the nightly rental charge, but didn’t include all the service fees included in the rental. I disputed the refund amount and received a response. Asked for owners contact information and again never received a response. I usually don’t write negative reviews but Blue Swells lack of respect by not responding left me no choice.
